GDCF Gives Back at City of
Forest Park Back To School Bash

The Gerald D. Crawford Foundation (GDCF) partnered with the City of Forest Park and Councilwoman Latresa Akins-Wells for their annual Back to School Day Bash in Clayton County. 

Hundreds of students and families were in attendance along with other local vendors to giveaway school supplies, free food and more. GDCF gave away book bags and school supplies to Metro-Atlanta students to prepare for the new school year.

GDCF Announces 2024 Scholarship Recipient

The Gerald D. Crawford Foundation is proud to

announce the recipient of the 2024 foundation scholarship valued at

$2,000. 

The recipient is a graduating senior at Midtown High School in Atlanta, Georgia and will be attending college in the fall. Congratulations to our scholarship winner and best of luck in school!

GDCF Brings Joy to the Community with Holiday Toy Giveaway

The Gerald D. Crawford Foundation partnered with The Toys For Tots Foundation and Ross Dress For Less Stores to giveaway toys to the Atlanta community during the holiday season. The event was a success and brought joy to families for the holiday.

GDCF Announces 2023 Scholarship Recipients

GDCF Honors 2023 Scholarship Recipients

Sieas Elliot, pictured in the center, was awarded

the Gerald D. Crawford Award. 

The Gerald D. Crawford Foundation is proud to

announce the recipients of the 2023 foundation scholarships. 

Sieas Elliot received the 2023 Gerald D. Crawford Award valued at $2,000. He is currently a rising sophomore at Stillman College in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Taylor Ward received the 2023 Cynthia Crawford Award

valued at $2,000. She is a 2023 graduate of Midtown High School in Atlanta, Georgia and will be attending Savanah State University in the fall. 

In addition, our 2022 foundation scholars named Layla Hadley and Troy Easterling both received $500 scholarships to continue their educational journey. 

Congratulations to our scholarship winners and best of luck in school!

The Gerald D. Crawford Foundation (GDCF) partnered with Fit For A Purpose Dance Studio's Back To School Day Bash in Clayton County.


Hundreds of students and families were in attendance along with other local vendors to giveaway school supplies, free hair cuts, free food and more. GDCF gave away book bags and school supplies to Metro-Atlanta students to prepare for the new school year.

valued at $1700. She is a 2022 graduate of Midtown High School in Atlanta, Georgia and will be attending Howard University in the fall. 

Troy Easterling received the 2022 Gerald D. Crawford Award

valued at $1700. He is currently a student at Stillman College in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
